Genetic Edge Technologies, Advanced Muscle Science, Fizogen Precision Technologies and KiloSports recall bodybuilding products marketed as supplements after FDA warned the firms the week of Sept. 12 their prescription aromatase inhibitor ingredients do not qualify as dietary ingredients. FDA notified consumers of potential adverse events associated with ATD and other aromatase inhibitors, including decreased rate of bone maturation and growth, decreased sperm production, infertility, aggressive behavior, adrenal insufficiency, kidney failure and liver dysfunction. Consumers with liver, kidney, adrenal or prostate abnormalities are at increased risk. Phoenix-based G.E.T. and KiloSports recalled 60-count bottles of Arimadex and Clomed products, respectively. Fizogen of Wellington, Fla., and AMS of Silver Spring, Nev., recalled the previously discontinued Off Cycle II Hardcore and Arom-X products, respectively, that may still be sold by online retailers, FDA said
