More than 5,700 consumers who bought dietary supplements and infrared saunas from Roex Inc. will receive checks averaging $500 from the Federal Trade Commission. The money, totaling $3 million, is redress from Roex for making alleged "bogus claims" that its products treat cancer, AIDs and other diseases, FTC said March 4.
