Solgar: The Leonia, N.J.-based firm previewed multiple new products at the Natural Products Association's Natural Marketplace in Las Vegas July 20-22 including four new SKUs in a dairy-, lactose- and milk-free probiotic supplements line. The new Advanced Acidophilus products contain between 500 mil. and 5 bil. micro-organisms per use, according to the firm. The products retail in 50- to 250-count bottles priced at $7.70 to $28.10. Another new product debuting at the show is a 50-count bottle of 100 mcg vitamin K2 product carrying an SRP of $24.90. One function of K2 is it plays an "important role in forming blood clotting proteins in the liver," Solgar says. The company also launched PC-Extend, which contains 200 mg of polygonum cuspidatum, which supplies 100 mg of reseveratrol "to support healthy biomarkers and improve quality of life" and costs $24.80 for a 60-count bottle. The company also introduced AC-11, a proprietary, patented and water soluble vegetable extract of uncaria tomentosa "for enhanced DNA protection and repair" in 60-count bottles for $34.50.
