Executive Summary
The "public health imperative" that led FDA to prohibit sale of nicotine lollipops "should lead to the same swift and decisive action with regard" to other unconventional nicotine products, 11 public health groups assert in April 19 letter to FDA. "While we recognize that no two products are exactly alike," agency's purview over novel nicotine delivery vehicles is "as strong as the authority that it exercised to prohibit the sale of nicotine lollipops," letter states.
