Notification program alerting indirect vitamin purchasers of eligibility to participate in $225 mil. vitamin price fixing settlement will begin this month, the Office of the Attorney General for New York announces Sept. 5. Notices will appear in print ads in national consumer, business and industry trade magazines; state-based and national newspapers; newspaper supplements; the Internet; and through communication with trade associations and the targeted industries. Hoffman-La Roche, BASF, Aventis Animal Nutrition, Takeda Chemical Industries, Eisai and Daiichi Pharmaceutical agreed to the settlement - which covers suits by Attorneys General of 21 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico - last October (1"The Tan Sheet" Oct. 16, 2000, p. 5)
