JAMA sees ghost authors
Executive Summary
The June 5 Journal of American Medical Association devoted to peer review issues, includes article on honorary and ghost authorship. Graham Mowatt, University of Aberdeen, et al., examined 362 reviews published in The Cochrane Library and found 9% had evidence of ghost authorship and 39% had evidence of honorary authorship.
