SENATE FDA REFORM BILL IMPLEMENTATION WOULD COST $555 MIL. OVER SIX YEARS, the Congressional Budget Office asserted in its scoring of the Senate FDA reform measure (S 1477). "Most of the additional costs under the bill would result from the increased workload given to the FDA," CBO said in a July 1 analysis of the bill.
