Finland’s National Medicines Agency has launched a new online search facility on the classification of medicines1. Entitled “Is this a medicinal substance or medicinal product?”, the facility enables consumers and importers to determine whether a substance is classed as a medicine, or whether a given product has previously been classed as a medicine.
