Teva UK turns to OTCs

Teva UK Ltd. plans to launch beginning this fall more than 20 nonprescription drugs, including analgesics, gastrointestinals and allergy relief products. The branch of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries said Sept. 2 the drugs will be sold through general sales or pharmacy class. "Our generics portfolio is already the widest of any other U.K. generics supplier, and branching out into OTCs seems like the next logical step," said Kim Innes, Teva's commercial director.
