Align surveys perception of probiotics

Executive Summary
A "Gut Check" survey sponsored by Procter & Gamble's Align probiotic supplement found one in four participants experience occasional digestive upset and one in five of those was told his or her attitude or emotions caused the upsets. Conducted in April 2010, the survey found more than 40 percent of 1,002 interviewees think all probiotics are the same, and 77 percent think probiotics in supplements are not as natural as those in foods. Align notes in a release that different probiotics have unique benefits, and the probiotic strain Bifantis in Align is found naturally in the body
