CCA Industries settles Mega-T class action

CCA Industries pays $2.5 million to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging misleading advertising on the packaging of Mega-T supplement products. The East Rutherford, N.J.-based manufacturer May 28 said the settlement of the suit is subject to approved by the Superior Court of Los Angeles and includes a one-time payment of $2.5 million by CCA to those that purchased the product. The company denies allegations of any wrongdoing and liability in regard to its advertising, CCA President Dunnan Edell said in a release. The firm also agreed to change packaging for the Mega-T products in question
