Waypharm USA plans to "introduce a nutritious, delicious, health and wellness beverage" in fall 2009, followed by a line of nutraceuticals for patients suffering from various illnesses, the firm said Aug. 13. Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer Thilde Peterson heads the U.S. branch. Peterson previously consulted with Lamb Weston, Pepperidge Farm and other food firms on marketing campaigns. Waypharm in France develops cytotoxic cancer therapies and supplements for cancer patients, its Web site says
