NPA wins Commerce Department business award

Executive Summary

The Natural Products Association wins a federal competition sponsored by the Department of Commerce to expand its business to China, the trade group announced Sept. 28. The award was granted as part of the Market Development Cooperator Project, which aims to build public and private partnerships by providing federal funding to non-profit trade associations that have demonstrated their effectiveness in reaching small and medium-sized enterprises. The award grants NPA more than $160,000, which will be matched by private sector funds over a two-year period. NPA will work with International Trade Administration Partners to help safeguard and manage its supply chain, improve market access, increase online communications and stage trade missions and shows, the group says...
