FDA and Metholatum have issued a voluntary recall for WellPatch Cough & Cold Soothing Vapor Pads due to the possibility of pediatric ingestion. The topical cough suppressant label indicates the product is suitable for children 2 years and older. The placement of the products on the chest gives young children easy access to remove the patches from their chests and possibly ingest them.
