Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs "offer some protection against the development of Alzheimer's disease," according to a study in the July 19 British Medical Journal conducted by Mahyar Etminan, MD, et al., Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal. However, "the appropriate dosage and duration of drug use and the ratios of risk to benefit are still unclear," researchers note.
