Executive Summary
Environmental Protection Agency would revise water treatment regs under proposed settlement with trade group entered in D.C. appeals court Nov. 16. October 1999 final rule, "National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Publicly Owned Treatment Works," would have changed classification of publicly owned treatment works that accept wastewater from sources such as pharmaceutical firms.
