Executive Summary
Calcium phosphate (A-Tab) serves as a "better pharmaceutic ingredient" compared to di-calcium phosphate (Di-Tab) in production of direct compressed herbal tablets, John Okogbaa, et al., Creighton University, report at AAPS meeting. Using fenugreek as a model, researchers compared tablet hardness, disintegration time and dissolution via USP methods.
