Executive Summary
Sixteen of 69 traditional Chinese botanical and zoological remedies "exhibited pronounced effects (>75% growth inhibition) on at least one" of five breast cancer cell lines, Michael Campbell, et al., University of California-San Francisco, report at AACR meeting. "Future studies with these crude aqueous extracts may lead to the isolation of novel active anti-tumor compounds," researchers note in poster abstract.
