Vitamin C, E supplementation retards progression of post-transplant artery disease, Dominik Behrendt, Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston, et al., state in ACC meeting presentation. In a double-blind, prospective study, 35 cardiac transplantation patients were randomized to either placebo or combined vitamin C/E for one year. Vessel function was assessed at baseline and after treatment.
