Executive Summary
McNeil Benecol and Lipton Take Control sales rose 31% and 14.4%, respectively, in 2000, according to Chicago-based IRI. Stanol ester-containing Benecol posted sales of $26.7 mil. for year, while Take Control recorded sales of $19.3 mil. in food, drug and mass outlets. Lipton's Take Control Light generated sales of $9.7 mil.
