Executive Summary
Trial in California Prop 65 litigation over use of coal tar in dandruff shampoos and other OTCs stayed until Jan. 29. Consolidated trial in separate lawsuits brought by the state and Perry Gottesfeld had been slated to begin Oct. 10, but Bergen Brunswig and Reedco requested a stay pending FDA review of the ingredient's safety (1"The Tan Sheet" Sept. 4, p. 16).
