Oral vitamin C has a positive short-term effect on endothelial function in healthy young adult smokers, but offers no long-term benefits, researchers from the Royal Prince Albert Hospital, Sydney, Australia and the University of Turku, Finland report in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
