Executive Summary
Statement clarifying that "contracting the human papilloma virus" can still occur "despite the use of condoms" would be required on all retail packages of condoms sold or distributed in California as of Jan. 1, 2001, under Assembly bill 2216 scheduled for hearing by the Committee on Health April 4. The state measure was introduced by Jim Battin (R) Feb. 24.
