Executive Summary

The lead content of zinc oxide-containing medicated powders is under attack by the Center for Environmental Health, a California non-profit organization. Oakland-based CEH filed a complaint in San Francisco superior court Nov. 18 against several drug manufacturers and retailers claiming products they make and sell exceed the California Proposition 65 limits for lead of .5 mcg/day.
