Chairman Thomas Bliley (R-Va.) and Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Joe Barton (R-Tex.) in the form of complete records of agency meetings and actions on the subject in anticipation of hearings on the agency's foreign inspection program. An Aug. 4 letter requests a list of "all FDA enforcement actions and/or investigations" involving counterfeit bulk drug substances since Jan. 1, 1990. The committee also wants copies of all internal FDA records relating to counterfeit bulk drugs during the same period.
