Executive Summary
House Commerce Committee staffers planning to accompany FDA inspectors to Northern Ireland and other European countries this summer as part of their preparations for hearings on foreign inspections ("The Tan Sheet" May 4, p. 19). Staffers also are likely to discuss implementation of the U.S.-European Union mutual recognition agreement signed by the two parties in the U.K. May 18.
