CVS agrees to pay a $600,000 civil penalty for violating a 1997 consent agreement regarding the divestiture of 113 Revco pharmacies to Eckerd. Because CVS removed the computerized pharmacy recordkeeping systems from the Revco pharmacies, consumers were denied the benefits of full competition, the Federal Trade Commission alleges in its complaint.
