CANADA VITAMIN/MINERAL CLAIMS EXPANSION PROPOSED by Health Canada in a final report issued Jan. 22. In the report, the agency's Therapeutic Products Programme makes recommendations for the removal of regulatory restrictions on therapeutic claims for vitamins and minerals and the use of expanded claims, which then would be specified in a guidance document. TPP will publish the recommendations as a proposal in the Canada Gazette Part I and, after a comment period, they will appear in the Canada Gazette Part II
