A summary of the survey and an accompanying Centers for Disease Control & Prevention editorial was published in the agency's Aug. 8 Morbidity & Mortality Weekly Report. "Further study is needed to identify effective approaches to increasing folic acid consumption and to evaluate approaches being used," CDC states.
