Spanish consumer OTC guides: National Consumers League translates three brochures into Spanish to help Spanish speakers better understand over-the-counter drug labeling information. The brochures addressing pain, cough and cold and children's medications are part of a series of six; the remaining brochures on asthma, allergy and antacids will be translated by October. Intended to help low-literacy people living in the U.S. obtain medical information, the brochures were developed with funding from the Nonprescription Drug Manufacturers Association and reviewed by the Interamerican College of Physicians and Surgeons.
