ALZHEIMER's PREVENTION TRIAL USING VITAMIN E to treat "mild cognitive impairment" is being considered by the National Institute on Aging. NIA Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Study (ADCS) principal investigator Leon Thal, MD, University of California at San Diego, has proposed the project, which is under institute review. A decision will be made in mid-June.
