OTC LABEL WARNINGS PRECEDING ACTIVE INGREDIENTS PREFERRED IN STUDY of 140 participants conducted by researchers at North Carolina State University. Led by Michael Wogalter, PhD, and William Vigilante, the study found that "in general, people prefer labels to first provide what the drug is used for (indications), second, provide information on associated hazards (warnings, cautions, drug interaction precautions) and use (directions), and third, provide information on active ingredients."
