Ephedrine registration: In a Feb. 10 interim rule, Drug Enforcement Administration grants temporary exemptions from the Controlled Substances Act's registration requirements to retail distributors of combination ephedrine products containing less than 24 g per transaction pending a final rule. Comments are requested by April 11.
