Executive Summary

PHARMACIST FAMILIARITY WITH HERBAL PRODUCT "COMMON USES" DESCRIBED AS LOW by 85% of participating pharmacists in a survey released July 10 by the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Based upon 512 "usable" responses to 1,937 questionnaires mailed nationwide, the survey found that only 15% of the respondents believed that most pharmacists were aware of the typical uses of herbal treatments.
