C.B. Fleet v. SmithKline Beecham: Jury decides SmithKline's ad claim that Massengill Extra Cleansing Vinegar and Water disposable douche "cleanses better" than Summer's Eve is false or misleading, finds fault with the Massengill label claim "Now designed for better cleansing," and deems SmithKline's conduct "willful and intentional,...oppressive, designed to harass competition, or in bad faith." The three-day trial ended June 12. Final relief will be decided by Judge James Turk. C.B.
