Executive Summary
HIGHER VITAMIN C INTAKE FOUND TO BOOST OTHER ANTIOXIDANT LEVELS in a study published in the December issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition by researchers from Tufts University. Paul Jacques et al. concluded that "results provide epidemiologic evidence that increasing intake of either vitamin C, vitamin E, or carotenoids is associated with greater plasma concentrations of one or both of the other antioxidant vitamins and not associated with any impairment in antioxidant status."
