Aspirin study: One-third of elderly heart attack patients do not receive aspirin within two days after hospitalization, "although aspirin is an effective, inexpensive, and safe treatment of acute myocardial infarction," according to a study published in the Nov. 15 issue of the American Heart Association journal, Circulation.
