Executive Summary
ELECTRONIC SURVEILLANCE PACKAGING TASK FORCE TO DEVELOP "WHITE PAPER" outlining the current state of the electronic surveillance packaging industry. The report will explore the anti-shoplifting technology currently used by retailers as well as systems the trade would like to see provided by manufacturers. The state-of-the-industry report was designated as one of the industry task force's top priorities during the group's second meeting, held on Aug. 3 in Boston. The task force first met in May in Herndon, Va. ("The Tan Sheet" May 15, p. 14).
