Herald Pharmacal markets a wide range of nonprescription glycolic acid-based skin care products. The M.D. Formulations brand is sold through dermatologists, plastic surgeons and aestheticians and the Aqua Glycolic line is marketed through pharmacies. Herald had sales of $15-$20 mil. in fiscal 1995 ended July 31, according to Allergan.
