SENIOR-FRIENDLY CRP TESTING FINAL RULE WITHHELD BY CPSC to address comments submitted by the Coalition for Responsible Packaging. In a Feb. 21 Federal Register notice, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said it voted Feb. 8 to "withhold publication of the final rule in order to consider these new arguments." The commission voted Jan. 6 to amend the child-resistant packaging requirements under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA) of 1970 to include adults aged 60-75 in the testing protocol ("The Tan Sheet" Jan. 9, p. 11).
