Executive Summary
HOMEOPATHIC IMMUNOTHERAPY MORE EFFECTIVE THAN PLACEBO in relieving allergy symptoms in a randomized, double-blind controlled study conducted by David Reilly, MD, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, et al. and published in the Dec. 10 issue of The Lancet. The study in 24 patients, designed as a confirmatory study of two earlier homeopathy trials conducted in the 1980s, found that nine of 11 patients on homeopathic treatment experienced improved allergy symptoms compared to five of 13 patients on placebo based on visual analog scores.
