JIN BU HUAN LIVER TOXICITY REPORTS in seven patients are included in a retrospective analysis published in the Nov. 15 issue of the Annals of Internal Medicine. The analysis concludes that Jin Bu Huan Anodyne Tablets, a traditional Chinese herbal remedy used as a sedative and analgesic, "can cause liver injury" when apparently taken at recommended doses.
