American Dental Association rules in favor of P&G in a complaint filed by Chesebrough-Pond's that asserted that P&G's Tartar Control Crest TV ads questioned the combined benefits of Chese-Pond's Mentadent hydrogen peroxide/baking soda toothpaste ("The Tan Sheet" Feb. 21, In Brief). The National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus also recently supported the Tartar Control Crest ads following a Chese-Pond's challenge ("The Tan Sheet" May 2, p. 13)
