Executive Summary
Nonprescription Drug Manufacturers Association submits a study to FDA on March 3 that NDMA says supports the efficacy of doxylamine (7.5 mg q.i.d. for two days) in relieving runny nose and sneezing associated with the common cold. According to NDMA, the new study, in conjunction with previously submitted antihistamine studies, adds further support for the efficacy of all antihistamines in treating common cold symptoms.
