Executive Summary
Public Citizen's Health Research Group "will be asking the FDA to change the warning labels on both over-the-counter ibuprofen products (such as Advil, Nuprin and Medipren)" and Procter-Syntex' just-approved naproxen sodium Aleve, according to HRG's Health Letter. Prescription-strength ibuprofen and naproxen both carry labels cautioning at-risk populations about the potential for drug-induced kidney failure when using these products.
