Executive Summary
Study published in the March 15 issue of Cancer Research finds that "prolonged use of aspirin" may reduce the risk of "fatal cancers of the esophagus, stomach, colon, and rectum." Michael Thun, MD, Emory University School of Public Health, et al. warned, however, that "until the findings can be replicated," the study results should be "interpreted cautiously given the observational nature of our study".
