FDA Assistant Commissioner for Science Linda Tollefson becomes the new chair of FDA's Institutional Review Board's Research Involving Human Subjects Committee July 1. She replaces former RIHSC chair and FDA's Office of Orphan Products Development Deputy Director John McCormick, who plans to retire from the agency soon.
