Amgen tours for cancer

Professional cyclists completed the sixth stage of Amgen's Tour of California Feb. 25. The eight-day, 700-mile race raises money for cancer awareness. The race is part of Amgen's cancer awareness program, "Breakaway from Cancer," and includes 10-time Tour de France veteran George Hincapie as spokesman. In a similar effort, Bristol-Myers Squibb enlisted seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong to train participants for its 2005 Tour of Hope, a nine-day journey across America with 24 people who have been "touched by cancer"...
