WARNER-LAMBERT OMNICEF ONCE-DAILY CAPSULES AND PEDIATRIC SOLUTION will be introduced in 1998 with six indications following a Dec. 4 FDA approval of the third-generation cephalosporin product. Omnicef (cefdinir) was approved for the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, acute bacterial otitis media, acute maxillary sinusitus, pharyngitis/tonsillitis, and uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections.
