Glaxo Asthma Self-Management Program survey shows 14.7% decrease in night-time awakening.

GLAXO ASTHMA PROGRAM REDUCES NIGHT-TIME AWAKENING 14.7%, according to a follow-up survey of the Asthma Self-Management Program conducted after six months. In a survey conducted in 137 patients from eight customer sites that adopted ASMP in 1996, 27% of participants reported no asthma-associated night-time waking prior to the program; 41.7% reporting undisturbed sleep six months after the program, Glaxo Wellcome reported, on an announcement of the survey findings on July 25.
